Forum Description
Drug Discovery Sciences is a rapidly evolving area where continuous development and innovation are the lifeblood of the industry. The aim of this forum will be to take a holistic look at this area and to identify some of the new trends and interests.
The impact and contributions being made by both Academia and the Pharmaceutical industry toward thorough characterization of molecules and their mechanisms of action will be given special focus as well as a look at methodologies in phenotypic drug discovery.
Alongside this there is currently an evolution in the way that some parts of science and discovery are being combined. Whether that is through the miniaturization of volumes in which biology is characterized or the innovative leveraging of technologies in new assay methodologies.
All of these topics will be covered in this SLAS sponsored stream that aims to be the first of many exciting opportunities for scientists to discover where the next contributions from science and technology will come from.
